Jamestown Christian Church is joining with Witham Health Services & the Red Cross for a Community Health/Wellness Fair & Blood Drive on Saturday, Oct. 11.
[Jamestown, IN] – Jamestown Christian Church is joining with Witham Health Services & the Red Cross in presenting the first annual Community Health/Wellness Fair & Blood Drive on Saturday, October 11, at Jamestown Christian Church, 900 N. Lebanon St. in Jamestown.
From 10:00am until 2:00pm visitors will have access to basic health screenings and wellness information including: free blood pressure & blood sugar screenings; $20 fasting cholesterol screenings; Dr. Matthew Bobzien will be sharing about juicing; Deanna Stopperich will be sharing about healthy living habits related to eating and exercise; and much more! The Red Cross will be available for anyone who would like to donate blood to support our local hospitals. The goal is to provide a relaxed environment to celebrate and engage members of the community.
“It is one of our goals to find ways to be more involved with our community and provide them with as many positive resources as possible”, said Senior Pastor Scott Ailes. “It is very important that people take an active role in managing their physical health as well as their spiritual health.”
